Agricultural cooperative Nantes, France

From requirements to production

This agricultural cooperative wanted to give its 600 members a modern portal and digital traceability — but had no technical team. We handled it all: writing the requirements specification, assembling and managing a team of developers and testers, all the way to production.

The context

A big ambition, no team to carry it

The cooperative knew exactly what it wanted to offer its members, but hit a wall: no requirements specification, no technical team, and the common fear of a project that drags on and blows the budget.

  • A clear need, but no formal requirements specification.
  • No in-house technical team to deliver.
  • Traceability handled by hand, on paper and spreadsheets.
  • Fear of a project slipping in timeline and cost.

The method

Delivery in five controlled steps

Rather than a leap into the unknown, we broke the project into clear stages, with deliverables and decisions at every milestone.

  1. 01Scoping & requirements

Workshops with members, prioritized needs and validated functional specifications.

  2. 02Design

Technical architecture, UX mockups and test plan.

  3. 03Development in sprints

Deliveries every two weeks and regular demos.

  4. 04Testing & acceptance

Automated testing and user acceptance (UAT) with the cooperative.

  5. 05Go-live

Deployment, data migration and team training.

The team

A full team, managed by us

The cooperative had a single point of contact. Behind it, we assembled and coordinated a cross-functional team, from the first workshop to go-live.

The impact

Delivered on time, with no surprises
