Traceable inspections, compliance reports with no re-keying
On every MEP installation, regulatory inspections pile up: mechanical, electrical, plumbing. They ran on paper and spreadsheets, with reports rebuilt afterwards and certifications scattered around. We built software that guides the inspection on site, tracks every defect through to its fix and generates the compliance report automatically.

Compliance can’t be caught up at the end of a project
On an MEP installation, each system has to pass a series of regulatory inspections before it is signed off. A defect spotted too late means reopening a system, a slipping schedule and a certification left waiting.
MEP-C-GROUP needed a tool to secure that process: framed inspections, a trace of everything that was checked, and a report ready to hand to the authority having jurisdiction with no re-keying.
Paper leaves nothing usable behind
“We inspected, jotted things on paper, then rebuilt the report back at the office. In between, a defect could slip through and no one could say where a certification stood.”
- Paper checklists that varied from one inspector to another.
- Defects with no clear follow-up through to their fix.
- Compliance reports rebuilt from memory, after the fact.
- Scattered certifications, hard to find during an audit.
One inspection, from the field to the archive
The software follows every inspection end to end, with no break between the field and the office.
- 01Planning
The inspection is planned by system and installation, with the right checklist.
- 02On-site inspection
The inspector runs through the system checklist and records every checked point.
- 03Defect logging
Each gap is documented (photo, location, severity) and linked to its system.
- 04Correction follow-up
Defects are tracked until they are cleared, leaving nothing open.
- 05Report & archive
The compliance report is generated and the certification archived in the right place.

A checklist tailored to each trade
Each system has its own control points. The software ships dedicated checklists so nothing is checked “roughly”.
- Ductwork and connections
- Equipment and commissioning
- Ventilation and airflow
- Supply and drainage networks
- Pressure and tightness tests
- Fixtures and connections
- Panels and circuits
- Grounding and protections
- Compliance with applicable codes
Every check leaves a trace
Beyond checklists, the software builds a complete compliance file for each installation: who inspected, when, what was found, what was fixed and which certifications were issued. During an audit, everything is retrievable in seconds.
Control points are based on the codes applicable to MEP installations.
Every inspection and correction is dated and attributed to its author.
Certificates are centralised and linked to their installation.
Compliance becomes a given, not a scramble
By framing inspections and tracking every defect, the software made compliance reliable and removed re-keying at the office.
“Now, when a certification is requested, we pull the complete file in seconds. Nothing gets lost between the field and the office anymore.”
